Drum Kit Designer is compatible with the GM standard. The images show how drum sounds are remapped when different modes are chosen with the Input Mapping pop-up menu in the extended parameters, and when using kits that contain brush snares. I find using GM for both works pretty well. Then select a kit through Kontakt, open the instrument plugin and do that in the options tab in the Midi mapping window under "preset" dropdown.
